While working for Budweiser in New Jersey, Chef Ken discovered he had a real passion for gourmet comfort food, like lobster mac and cheese and meatballs that beat out the flavors made by Italian grandmas. He realized his dream would be more fun to live out in the sun, so he headed to the Florida Culinary Institute in West Palm Beach.
As a sous chef for Bruschetta & Co., an upscale Italian restaurant in Miami, he learned the art of creating modern Italian cuisine, including 6 incredible varieties of bruschetta and palette-pleasing pies. His homemade grilled pizzas were always a big hit!
Chef Ken was the head catering chef for Mattison's, where he won "Best in Catering - Sarasota." He cooked wine-paring dinners for a few guests to weddings and other events with over 1,000 guests. Always receiving top chef reviews from his patrons, he decided in 2014 to take his passion for food to the next level and open up Chefs2U.
